Taylor Premium Crew Sweater

NZ$99.00

For our Breast Cancer Cure design, we collaborated with local New Zealand artist Rebekah Farr. Vicki Taylor and Rebekah met at design school in Melbourne and have since worked together on taylor textile designs for many years. Rebekah in her artworks is inspired by shape, texture and storytelling, much like the taylor brand itself. For this collaboration, we worked together on a unique brushstroke design. The freedom of textures created by randomly placed brushstrokes allows the mind to explore and expand ideas, while the abstracted shape holds an important reference to the folded ribbon symbol synonymous with breast cancer awareness. The strong, confident brush strokes are in stark contrast to the fragility of our emotions and our tenderness towards this cause.

This TAYLOR design was printed locally on an AS Colour Black Premium Crew Sweater, relaxed, oversized fit with dropped shoulder, ribbing on neck, cuff and hem. 400 GSM, 80% Cotton, 20% Polyester.
